NOCKAMIXON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

Meeting Dates: The Nockamixon Township Board of Supervisors meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:30 PM. Meetings are open to the public. Township meetings are held in person at the Nockamixon Township building located at 589 Lake Warren Road, Upper Black Eddy, PA 18972 and live streamed via Zoom. If you are interested in attending the meeting via Zoom, please contact the office no later than 5 pm the day prior to the meeting.

Formation: The Nockamixon Township Board of Supervisors is comprised of 5 members serving 6-year terms. Members must be residents of Nockamixon Township.

Purpose: According to the Pennsylvania Second Class Township Code, the Supervisors are vested with executive and legislative powers to establish policies and regulations with the purpose of maintaining the health safety, and welfare of the residents. As the township's legislative body, the board enacts ordinances, adopts budgets, appoints volunteer members to the Township's advisory boards and commission and hires professional staff for daily operations, legal, engineering, and technical matters.
